Titan C-98

Titan C-98 Kaolin is an engineered and structured calcined kaolin with ultra-high brightness. It increases brightness by controlling heat treatment to remove crystal-bound hydrocarbon groups. For better dispersion, Titan C-98 is ultra-powdered and has excellent light blocking properties. It is used in wood-free papers and mechanical papers to improve brightness, transparency, anti-bubble resistance and ink sensitivity with minimal impact on board and printing gloss. It also significantly expands the titanium dioxide within it, improving ink feel, glue ability and helping to control adhesive fusion. Compared to other kaolins, C-98 already has high shear rheology at high solids, helping to improve coating color in dry environments and reduce energy consumption.
